1. Scientific Assistant (Scientific Assistant)

Domain / Field Essential Educational Qualification Preferential Qualification
(a) Biology
  • B.Sc. in Biology / Forensic Science with specialization in Biology
  • Biotechnology, Biochemistry,
  • Genetics
  • Cell Biology
  • or Microbiology from a recognized University/Institute.
  • M.Sc. in the relevant subject (Biology domain).
  • Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years, OR
  • Obtained ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
(b) Physics
  • B.Sc. in Physics / Forensic Science with specialization in Physics
  • Nuclear Science

OR

  •  Instrumental Electronics OR B.Tech. in Instrumental Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

OR

  • Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
  • M.Sc. in the relevant subject (Physics domain).
  • Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years, 

OR

  • Obtained ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
(c) Chemistry
  • B.Sc. in Chemistry / Forensic Science with specialization in Chemistry

 Or

  •  Bio chemistry from a recognized University/Institute.
  • M.Sc. in the relevant subject (Chemistry domain).
  • Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years, OR
  • Obtained ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
(d) Computer Science
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science 

OR 

  • ‘A’ Level Diploma from NIELIT from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Higher qualification in Computer Science.
  • Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years, OR
  • Obtained ‘B’ Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).

2. Lab Assistant (Laboratory Assistant)
