• There will be negative marks for wrong answers.
• 1/4th of the mark assigned for a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Candidates who produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing that they have studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment : Local Language Test

• Proficiency Requirement: Candidates applying for training seats in a particular state must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding any one of the specified local languages of that state.

• Test Timing: The test for knowledge of the opted local language is a part of the selection process and will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination.

• Qualification is Mandatory: Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged as apprentices.

• Exemption from Test: Candidates who produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

• Test Center & Expenses: Candidates must appear for the language test at a center decided by the Bank within the state they applied for. This will be at the candidate’s own expense, and SBI will not reimburse or bear any traveling expenses incurred for attending this test.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment : Application Process

1. Register on NAPS Portal: It is mandatory for all candidates to register on the NAPS portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) before applying online through the SBI website links.
2. Scan Documents: Candidates should first scan their recent passport-style photograph, signature (black ink), left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration as per the detailed specifications.
3. Live Photograph: In addition to the scanned photo, candidates will be required to capture and upload a live photograph using a webcam or mobile phone during the application process.
4. Fill the Form: Visit the appropriate online application form on https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers under ‘Current Openings’. Fill out the application carefully.
5. Pay Fees: After ensuring the correctness of the application particulars, candidates are required to pay the fees through the integrated payment gateway using debit card, credit card, or internet banking.
