• उम्मीदवार ने किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से Graduation किया हो, जिसमें कम से कम 60% अंक या CGPA 6.32 (out of 10) हो।
• Graduation कोर्स की निर्धारित अवधि में पूरा किया होना चाहिए।
• Computer पर Hindi typing speed कम से कम 25 शब्द प्रति मिनट होनी चाहिए।
• Computer knowledge/proficiency आवश्यक है – जैसे MS Word, basic operations आदि में निपुणता।

-Desirable :

• English typing का ज्ञान होना चाहिए।

• उम्मीदवार ने 10वीं (SSLC/SSC/Matric) कक्षा उत्तीर्ण की हो।
• उम्मीदवार के पास valid LVD (Light Vehicle Driver) license होना चाहिए।
• Light Vehicle Driver के रूप में कम से कम 3 साल का अनुभव होना चाहिए।
• चयनित उम्मीदवार को कार्यभार ग्रहण करने के बाद 3 महीने के अंदर केरल राज्य के Motor Vehicle Act से जुड़ी अन्य सभी आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना होगा।

• उम्मीदवार ने 10वीं (SSLC/SSC/Matric) कक्षा उत्तीर्ण की हो।
• उम्मीदवार के पास valid HVD (Heavy Vehicle Driver) license होना चाहिए।
• उम्मीदवार के पास valid Public Service Badge होना चाहिए।
• यदि किसी राज्य या Union Territory में यह badge अनिवार्य नहीं है, तो वहाँ के उम्मीदवारों को post join करने के 3 महीने के अंदर यह requirement पूरी करनी होगी।
• उम्मीदवार के पास 5 साल का ड्राइविंग अनुभव होना चाहिए|
• जिसमें कम से कम 3 साल का अनुभव Heavy Vehicle चलाने का हो।
• और बाकी का अनुभव Light Motor Vehicle चलाने का हो सकता है।

• उम्मीदवार ने 10वीं (SSLC/SSC) कक्षा उत्तीर्ण की हो।
• उम्मीदवार को Physical Fitness और Physical Efficiency Test (PET) के निर्धारित मानकों को पूरा करना आवश्यक है।

• उम्मीदवार ने 10वीं (SSLC/SSC) कक्षा उत्तीर्ण की हो।
• किसी well-established Hotel या Canteen में Cook के रूप में कम से कम 5 साल का अनुभव होना चाहिए।
• Hotel या Canteen का प्रसिद्ध और मान्यता प्राप्त होना ज़रूरी है।

-Skill Test में दो चीज़ें होंगी :

• Computer Literacy Test
• Hindi Typing Test
• Computer Literacy Test की duration 60 minutes होगी|

Hindi Typing Test Details

• Candidates को Computer पर Hindi typing करनी होगी।
• एक 250 words का passage दिया जाएगा।
• Typing की speed 25 words per minute होनी चाहिए।
• Typing के लिए INSCRIPT keyboard का use करना होगा।
• Font होना चाहिए UNICODE।

-Written Test :

• यह परीक्षा Objective Type होगी।
• परीक्षा की समय सीमा 120 मिनट (2 घंटे) होगी।
• परीक्षा के चार भाग होंगे – Part A, B, C & D।

-Minimum Qualifying Marks) :

• UR (General Category): कम से कम 50% अंक|
• Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC etc.): हर भाग में 40% अंक आवश्यक होने चाहिए|

• Written Test सबसे पहले आयोजित की जाएगी।
• Merit के आधार पर, उम्मीदवारों को 1:5 के अनुपात में Skill Test के लिए shortlist किया जाएगा।

-Written Test Details:

• Written Test में एक पेपर होगा जिसमें 100 Objective Questions होंगे।
• प्रत्येक प्रश्न का 1-mark का होगा और परीक्षा की Duration 2 घंटे (120 minutes) की होगी।

-Negative Marking भी लागू है :

• Correct Answer: +1 मार्क
• Wrong Answer: -0.25 मार्क
• Unattempted Question: 0 मार्क

Minimum Qualifying Marks :

• Part A में कम से कम 50% अंक लाने होंगे।
• Part B, C और D (संयुक्त रूप से) में भी कम से कम 50% अंक लाना अनिवार्य होगा।
• केवल वे उम्मीदवार ही Skill Test के लिए eligible होंगे जिन्होंने उपरोक्त योग्यता प्राप्त की हो।
• लिखित परीक्षा के कुल अंक (चारों Parts के) का उपयोग shortlisting के लिए किया जाएगा।

• उम्मीदवार को ISRO द्वारा निर्धारित physical standards (height, chest expansion आदि) को पूरा करना अनिवार्य है।
• यह टेस्ट qualifying होता है, यानी इसमें पास होना जरूरी है लेकिन इसके अंक मेरिट में नहीं जोड़े जाते।

-Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 

• इस परीक्षा में उम्मीदवार को विभिन्न physical tasks (जैसे दौड़, सीढ़ी चढ़ना, वजन उठाना आदि) को पूरा करना होता है।
• सभी कार्यों को prescribed time limit में पूरा करना जरूरी है।
• यह टेस्ट भी qualifying in nature है।

-Written Test 

• Objective Type Questions होंगे।
• Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
• कुल 100 प्रश्न होंगे, प्रत्येक प्रश्न 1 अंक का।
• Negative Marking: गलत उत्तर पर -0.25 अंक कटेगा

-Final Merit List :

• केवल वही उम्मीदवार जो PST और PET में qualify करेंगे, वही written test में बैठ सकते हैं।
• Final selection written exam के अंकों पर आधारित होगी।

• Shortlisting केवल written test के marks के आधार पर होगी।
• Shortlisted Candidates को 1:5 के अनुपात में (और कम से कम 10 candidates होने चाहिए) skill test के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।

-Skill Test पूरी तरह से ‘Go-No-Go’ basis पर होगा :

• इसमें मिले marks को final selection में consider नहीं किया जाएगा।

-Skill Test Evaluation :

• यह 100 अंकों के scale पर होगा।
• कम से कम 60% marks लाना अनिवार्य है qualify करने के लिए।
• जिन candidates ने skill test में 60% या उससे अधिक अंक प्राप्त किए होंगे, उनमें से empanelment केवल written test के marks के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
