Haryana Police Official Notice 2026 Released : Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Constable: The candidate must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board.
  • Sub-Inspector: The candidate must have passed Graduation.
  • Mandatory: It is mandatory to have Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject at the Matriculation level.

Age Limit 

  • General Category: 18 – 25 Years
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/BC/EWS: 5 Years Relaxation

Haryana Police Official Notice 2026 Released : Application Fee

No application fee will be charged from any category candidate for this examination.

For all categories (General, SC/BC/EWS, Ex-Serviceman, Male/Female – Haryana & Non-Haryana) Application Fee : ₹0 (No Fee)

That is, candidates only have to fill out the application form; no fee needs to be deposited.

Haryana Police Official Notice 2026 Released : Salary

The pay scale for Haryana Police Constable falls under Pay Level-3 as per the 7th Pay Commission.

  • Pay Scale: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100
  • Allowances: DA, HRA, Medical Allowance, etc., will be payable as per rules.

Haryana Police Official Notice 2026 Released : Selection Process

According to the new rules (2025 Amendment), the selection process will consist of the following stages:

  1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): (Qualifying Nature)
  2. Physical Screening Test (PST): (Qualifying Nature)
  3. Shortlisting: From the candidates passing PMT and PST, 10 times the number of vacancies for each category will be called for the Knowledge Test.
  4. Knowledge Test: 97% Weightage (Written Exam).
  5. Bonus Marks: 3% Weightage (NCC Certificate).
  6. Medical Exam & Document Verification.

Important Notes (PMT):

  • The Physical Measurement Test will be of qualifying nature only.
  • The Director General of Police may grant relaxation in standards to sports persons.
  • Ex-Servicemen, SC, and ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 1 inch in Height and 1 inch in Chest.

Important Notes (PST):

  • The purpose of the PST is to check the physical fitness and endurance of the candidate.
  • Candidates failing in the PST will be eliminated from the further selection process.
  • Only candidates who qualify in the PST will be able to participate in the further selection process.
  • The PST result will be published on the HSSC official website.
  • The candidate will be personally responsible for medical fitness for the PST.

Haryana Police Official Notice 2026 Released : Preparation Tips

  • Haryana GK: 20% of questions in the exam will come from Haryana, so pay special attention to the state’s History, Geography, Polity, and Culture.
  • Computer Basics: Computer has a 10% weightage; knowledge of Basic Computer, MS Office, and Internet is necessary.
  • Physical Fitness: PMT/PST may be conducted before the written exam, so start practicing running from now.
  • Agriculture & Animal Husbandry: Questions are often asked from these subjects in Haryana Police exams; do not skip them.

Admit Card

Admit cards will be released on the official HSSC website about 7-10 days before the exam date. Candidates will have to download it using their Registration Number and Password.

Result

The Final Result will be declared based on the merit list prepared by adding the marks of the Knowledge Test (97%) and NCC (3%)..
