The full form of ECGC PO is Export Credit Guarantee Corporation Probationary Officer. The ECGC provides credit for exports only to the Indian exporters in its capacity as a government-owned export credit institution. Eligibility Criteria For ECGC PO

Interview Round for ECGC PO

Those candidates who qualify the internet based test are invited for interview. The interviewing process measures communication, problem-solving and personality aspects of the interviewee. Pre Exam Training For ECGC PO

Applicants from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) will be provided with online pre-examination training by the ECGC.

• According to the number of applications received or administrative factors, ECGC may also reserve the right to call off the pre-examination training. 
• Society shall not be responsible for any loss because attending pre-examination course does not guarantee selection to ECGC. 
• The pre-examination training is aimed at supporting the eligible reserved category applicants in making prior preparation for the online written exam through brief orientation.

Exam Pattern For ECGC PO 

The said online examination shall be in two segments. An objective test (MCQs) and a descriptive test measuring the ability of an individual in English language. The pattern of the examination for ECGC PO Examination is provided below. 

Objective Test of ECGC PO 

• The virtual test will have a total of two hundred questions of the multiple choice type, each carrying one mark. 
• The subjects will be distributed as follows: Reasoning Ability, English, Computer Knowledge, Current Affairs, and Quantitative APT. 
• Any incorrect response shall result in a negative marking which shall be 0.25 (1/4th) mark. 
• There shall be a time limit for each section which will be described in the table below.

Salary For ECGC PO 

The salary for ECGC PO positions varies from a range of ₹53,600-26,45(14) to ₹90,630-28,65(4)-₹1,02,090. Apart from this attractive remuneration, the candidates who have been shortlisted will also be given several benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Medical Allowance, etc. For staff located in Mumbai Headquarters, the expected remuneration will be around ₹16Lakhs CTC.
