UPSC द्वारा Combined Geo-Scientist Mains Admit Card 2026 जारी कर दिए गए हैं। यह परीक्षा 20 और 21 जून 2026 को देशभर के विभिन्न परीक्षा केंद्रों पर आयोजित की जाएगी। Candidates 12 जून 2026 से Official Website www.upsc.gov.in से अपना E-Admit Card डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। परीक्षा में शामिल होने के लिए Admit Card का Printout साथ ले जाना अनिवार्य है, क्योंकि इस Exam के लिए कोई Paper Admit Card जारी नहीं किया जाएगा। साथ ही, Admit Card पर दिए गए सभी Important Instructions को ध्यानपूर्वक पढ़ें और Exam Venue पर Reporting Time से पहले पहुंचें, क्योंकि Morning Session के लिए 08:30 AM और Afternoon Session के लिए 02:00 PM के बाद Entry की अनुमति नहीं होगी।
Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) परीक्षा में हर Stream के लिए 3 Conventional Type Papers होंगे। सभी प्रश्नपत्र English में होंगे और Candidates को अपने Answers भी सिर्फ English में ही लिखने होंगे। Stage-II का Detailed Exam Pattern नीचे दिया गया है।
Candidates must appear in all prescribed Main Exam papers of their respective post/stream.
Absence in Any Paper
If a Candidate misses even one paper, their Candidature will be Rejected, and the Attempted Papers will not be Evaluated.
Answer Writing
Answers should be Written in a Clear, Precise, and Well-Organized manner with Proper use of words.
Numerals
Only International Form of Indian Numerals (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.) should be used.
Calculator Usage
Non-programmable Pocket Calculators are allowed in Conventional/Descriptive papers. Programmable Calculators are Strictly Prohibited.
Unfair Means
Sharing or Exchanging Calculators in the Exam Hall is not Permitted.
Identity Disclosure
Writing any irrelevant marks, signs, or information that may reveal a candidate’s identity can lead to mark deduction or non-evaluation of the answer script.
Compensatory Time
Eligible PwBD Candidates will be Provided 20 Minutes Extra Per Hour of the Examination, Subject to Applicable Conditions.
Main परीक्षा Qualify करने वाले Candidates को Personality Test/Interview के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। यह चरण 200 Marks का होगा, जिसमें Candidate की Personality, Communication Skills और पद के लिए Suitability को Assess किया जाएगा।
Entry to the examination venue will be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination i.e. 08:30 AM (Morning Session) and 02:00 PM (Afternoon Session)

Important Instructions & Documents to Carry:
E-Admit Card का Printout परीक्षा केंद्र पर ले जाना जरूरी है उसके बिना Entry नहीं मिलेगी।
Photo ID Proof (Same as Mentioned in Admit Card) हर Session में Carry करना जरूरी है।
अगर Admit Card में Photo Unclear है, तो 2 Passport-Size Photos + ID Proof साथ लेकर जाना होगा।
Venue पर 1.5 hours पहले पहुँचना जरूरी है (Frisking & Verification के लिए)।
Entry 30 minutes पहले बंद हो जाएगी।
केवल E-Admit Card, Pen, Pencil, ID Proof, Photos ही Allowed हैं। Mobile, Smart/Digital Watch, Bags, Books, Gadgets Strictly Prohibited हैं।
Black Ball Point Pen Attendance के लिए Mandatory है।
Simple Wristwatch Allowed है पर Smart Watch Strictly Banned है।
Name Change Candidates को Gazette Notification + ID Proof Carry करना होगा।
Preparation Tips:
हर Stream में 3 Papers (200 Marks Each) होते हैं, इसलिए सभी Papers की Balanced तैयारी करें।
अपने Stream के अनुसार Geology / Geophysics / Chemistry / Hydrogeology को अलग-अलग Strong करें।
रोजाना Speed और Accuracy की Practice करें ताकि Writing Fast और सही हो सके।
Answers सिर्फ English में लिखने हैं, इसलिए English Answer Writing की Practice नियमित करें।
Concept Clarity और Revision पर पूरा Focus रखें, क्योंकि पूरा Syllabus काफी Important है।
Previous Year Papers और Mock Tests Solve करें ताकि Question Pattern समझ आए।
Time Management Improve करें और हर Paper के लिए Fixed Writing Speed Develop करें।
Diagrams, Numerical और Structured Answers की Practice करें।
Regular Mock Test Series लगाएं ताकि Performance और Confidence दोनों Improve हों।
Last Stage में Revision + Short Notes पर ज्यादा फोकस करें।
