NCERT LDC Admit Card Out : Download Now!!

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has officially released the NCERT LDC Admit Card 2026 for candidates appearing in the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) recruitment examination. The admit card is an essential document that contains important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, examination center, and exam-day instructions.

Candidates who successfully completed the application process can now download their hall tickets from the official NCERT website using their registration credentials. According to recent updates, the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the LDC post is scheduled to be conducted in May 2026. Applicants are advised to carefully verify all details mentioned on the admit card and carry a printed copy along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination center. Without the admit card, entry to the exam hall will not be permitted. Candidates should also follow all instructions issued by NCERT for a smooth examination process.

NCERT LDC: Exam Pattern and Requirements

Essential Educational Qualification Intermediate, 10+2, or equivalent. 
Stage 1: Written TestThe primary mode of selection is a Written Test/Computer Based Test (CBT). The provisional merit list will be drawn based on the marks scored in this test.

NCERT LDC: Steps to Download Admit Card

  1. A link to download the Admit Card for the CBT/written examinations and Skill Tests will be published strictly on the official NCERT website.
  2. Visit www.ncert.nic.in regularly to check for updates.
  3. Navigate to the Announcements > Vacancies > Non-Academic section.
  4. Click on the admit card link and download it.
    Note: Though NCERT may send separate emails or SMS for admit card intimation, it will not be their responsibility if you do not receive them.

NCERT LDC: Important Instructions and Documents to Carry 

  1. Application Printouts: Candidates must take a printout of the E-Receipt and the filled-in online Application Form containing fee details. You must keep this copy to produce whenever asked by NCERT.
  2. Appearance: Your appearance during the examination should exactly match the photograph uploaded in your application form (clear, without cap or spectacles, full-frontal view).
  3. No Allowances: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Written Examination, Skill Test, or Document Verification.
  4. For PwBD Candidates: If you are shortlisted, you must mandatorily produce a disability certificate issued by the Competent Authority and a UDID card. If utilizing a Scribe, specific guidelines and compensatory time rules apply.
  5. For Government Employees: You must furnish a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) and a “Vigilance Clearance Certificate” from your current employer at the time of document verification.
  6. Translated Documents: Any certificates in a language other than Hindi or English must be translated into Hindi or English and submitted alongside the original copy.

NCERT LDC: Last Minute Preparation Tips 

  1. Focus on Typing Precision: Since the LDC role specifically mandates a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer (amounting to 10500/9000 KDPH), daily keyboard practice is crucial.
  2. Gather Your Paperwork: Don’t wait until the last minute. Ensure your Caste (Central List only), EWS, or PwBD certificates are formatted exactly as per the prescribed Government of India proformas attached in the notification.
  3. Stay Updated: Because exam dates and admit cards will only be communicated via the official portal, make it a daily habit to check www.ncert.nic.in to avoid missing the examination.
