  • Master the Basics of Civil Engineering: Since Paper-II is subjective and worth 50% of the written marks, focus on core concepts of structures, surveying, and construction materials. Practice writing long-form answers clearly.
  • Physical Conditioning: Don’t wait for the written results to start training. The PET is “qualifying,” but failing even one event (like the 100m race or long jump) leads to immediate elimination.
  • Accuracy in Paper-I: General awareness and reasoning can be scoring. Use standard graduate-level competitive exam books to sharpen your speed for the 100-question objective paper.
  • Document Readiness: Ensure your Degree Certificate and Category Certificates (OBC/SC/ST/EWS) are in the prescribed format and issued before the 20.05.2026 deadline.
  • Interview Prep: The interview carries 50 marks and includes 10 marks specifically for professional experience. If you have more than 24 months of experience, you can secure the full 10 marks in that sub-category.
