Note: Application Fee applicable to Transgender candidates belonging to different categories shall be applicable, as per their reservation category.
Age –
Eligibility criteria regarding age shall be as follows:
Minimum age as on – 18 years.
Maximum age as on 1 January 2024- 28 years.
Relaxation in age shall, however, be applicable as mentioned below:
i. Relaxation up to five years in the prescribed upper age limit has been granted to the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, who are residents of Punjab. As such, maximum age for such candidates shall be 33 years as on 1 January 2024.
ii. Ex-servicemen, who are residents of Punjab, shall be allowed to deduct the period of his/her service in the Armed Forces of the Union from his/her actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such a vacancy by more than three years, he/she shall be deemed to satisfy the conditions regarding age limit.
iii. Relaxation up to five years in the prescribed upper age limit has been granted to candidates, who are serving regular employees of Punjab Government or of other State or Central Government. As such, maximum age for such candidates shall be 33 years as on 1 January 2024 .

उपर्युक्त योग्यताओं के अलावा, सभी उम्मीदवारों को 1 जनवरी 2024 को या उससे पहले अनिवार्य या वैकल्पिक विषयों में से एक के रूप में पंजाबी के साथ मैट्रिक परीक्षा या पंजाब सरकार द्वारा निर्दिष्ट पंजाबी भाषा में कोई अन्य समकक्ष परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करनी होगी।
चयन प्रक्रिया –
- Stage-I: Stage-I will consist of two common Computer Based Test (CBT), multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type Paper viz. Paper-I and Paper-II, of which Paper-II shall be qualifying in nature.
- Stage-Il: Stage-II will consist of Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Both Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test shall be qualifying in nature.
- Stage-III: Stage-III will consist of Document Scrutiny.
- STAGE-I: Computer Based Test
The first stage of the selection process shall be Common Computer Based Test (CBT) comprising of the following:

| Paper – II | Paper-II shall be a mandatory qualifying test of Punjabi language ofmatriculation standard comprising of 50 questions carrying one (01)mark each with marks as the qualifying criteria. The marksobtained in this Paper shall not be counted for determining merit. |

पंजाब सरकार की अधिसूचना संख्या FD-FP-10MISC/87/2020-2FP1 दिनांक 29.12.2020 के अनुसार कांस्टेबल पद का वेतनमान 19,900/- रुपये और न्यूनतम वेतन स्वीकार्य है। सेवा में शामिल होने की तारीख से तीन साल तक 19,900/प्रति माह।
राष्ट्रीयता : –
उम्मीदवार भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए, जिसने किसी अन्य देश की नागरिकता/स्थायी निवास/ग्रीन कार्ड प्राप्त नहीं किया हो।
