Important Dates of SSC GD Constable Vacancy 2024 :

Date for submission of online applications (ऑनलाइन आवेदन जमा करने की तिथि) – 24-11-2023 to 31-12-2023

Dates of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ and online payment of Correction Charges (आवेदन पत्र सुधार के लिए विंडो’ और सुधार शुल्क के ऑनलाइन भुगतान की तिथि) – 04-01-2024 to 06-01-2024 (23:00)

Schedule of Computer Based Examination (कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा का शेड्यूल) – February-March, 2024

Educational Qualifications (As on 01-01-2024)

उम्मीदवारों को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड/विश्वविद्यालय से Matriculation या 10th Class की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होनी चाहिए। 

Incentive to NCC Certificate Holders in SSC GD Constable Vacancy 2024 :

NCC ‘C’ Certificate – 5% of the maximum marks of the examination
NCC ‘B’ Certificate – 3% of the maximum marks of the examination
NCC ‘A’ Certificate – 2% of the maximum marks of the examination

Age Limit:

SSC GD Notification 2024 के अनुसार 01-01-2024 को 18-23 वर्ष। अभ्यर्थियों का जन्म सामान्यतः 02-01-2001 से पहले और 01-01-2006 के बाद का नहीं होना चाहिए।

Relaxations in upper age limit : 

SC/ ST : 5 years

OBC : 3 years

Ex-Servicemen :  3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the date of reckoning.

Computer Based Examination: Computer based examination में एक objective type paper होगा जिसमें 80 प्रश्न होंगे जिनमें से प्रत्येक में 2 अंक होंगे।

Syllabus :

General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

General Knowledge and General Awareness: Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Elementary Mathematics: This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

English/ Hindi: Candidates’ ability to understand basic English/ Hindi and his basic comprehension would be tested.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Race: Male – 5 Km in 24 minutes. 

Race: Female– 1.6 Kms in 8 ½ minutes

Remarks:  For candidates other than those belonging to the Ladakh Region. 

Race: Male –  1.6 Kms in 7 minutes

Female  – 800 metres in 5 minutes

Remarks: For candidates of Ladakh Region.

Medical Examination: PET/ PST qualify करने वाले उम्मीदवारों के समूह में से उम्मीदवारों को Detailed Medical Examination (DME) के लिए shortlisted किया जाएगा।

Admission to the Examination (परीक्षा में प्रवेश) :

Computer Based Examination के लिए Admit Card डाउनलोड करने की सुविधा परीक्षा से लगभग 3-7 दिन पहले concerned Regional Office की website पर उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी।

इसी प्रकार, PST/ PET और Medical Examinations (DME/ RME) के लिए Admit Card डाउनलोड करने की सुविधा संबंधित परीक्षा से लगभग 2 सप्ताह पहले CRPF की website (http://crpf.gov.in/) पर उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी। उम्मीदवारों को परीक्षा हॉल में Admit Card का एक Print Out लाना होगा।

CRPF की Website से PST/ PET और DME/ RME के लिए Admit Card डाउनलोड करने में असमर्थता के मामले में, उम्मीदवारों को PST/ PET  या  DME/ RME से कम से कम एक सप्ताह पहले CRPF से संपर्क करना चाहिए।   PST/ PET और Medical Examination के लिए Admit Card नहीं मिलने की स्थिति में, उम्मीदवार CRPF भर्ती हेल्पलाइन नंबर 011-26160255 पर संपर्क कर सकते हैं।

Admit card  के अलावा, दो पासपोर्ट Size के Recent Colour Photo, original valid Photo-ID proof  जिसमें Admit Card पर  लिखा हुआ Date Of Birth  लिखा हो, ले जाना अनिवार्य है, जैसे:

• Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar,
• Voter’s ID Card,
• Driving License,
• PAN card,
• Passport,
• ID Card issued by University/ College/ School,
• Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU),
• Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book issued by the Ministry of Defence,
• Any other photo-bearing ID card issued by the Central/ State Government.

Preference :

उम्मीदवारों को ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र में प्राथमिकता के क्रम में निम्नलिखित CAPFs/ Organizations को preferences देनी होगी। सभी सात preferences भरना आवश्यक होगा : 

• BSF (A)
• CISF (B)
• CRPF (C)
• SSB (D)
• ITBP (E)
• Assam Rifles (F)
• SSF (H)
• NCB (G)

Salary :

Pay Scale: Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100).

Application Fee :

Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs One hundred only). 

Remark : आरक्षण के लिए पात्र Women उम्मीदवारों और Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) से संबंधित उम्मीदवारों को शुल्क के भुगतान से छूट दी गई है।
