SSB Constable Tradesman Notification 2026 Out: Eligibility

Educational Qualification 
Name of PostEssential Educational & Professional Qualification
Constable (Veterinary)(i) Candidates must have 10th class pass with science as main subject from a recognized board and

(ii) Candidates must have One year experience in treatment of different species of animals in a recognized Veterinary Hospital.

Constable (Driver) only for male Constables(i) Candidates must have 10th class pass from a recognized board, and

(ii) Candidates Must Possess Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

Constables (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter)(a) Candidates must have Matriculation or Equivalent from a Recognized Board.

(i) Candidates must have two years' Work Experience in Respective Trades.

OR

(ii) Candidates must have one year certificate course from a Recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade.

OR

(iii) Candidates must have two years Diploma from Recognized Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.

(b) Candidates Must Qualify Trade Test.

Note: Multi-Skilled Candidates will be given Preference.

Constable (Carpenter)(a) Candidates must have Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized board.

(b) Candidates must have two years' work experience in respective trade.

OR

(c) Candidates must have one year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the respective trade

  OR

(d) Candidates must have two years Diploma from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or similar trade.

(e) Candidates Must Qualify Trade Test.

Constable (Nursing Orderly)(i) Candidates must 10th class pass from a recognized Board.

(ii) Candidates must have First Aid certificate course from St. John’s Ambulance Organization or Red Cross Society of India and

(iii) Candidates must have a minimum of one year of work experience as a Nursing Orderly in a hospital with at least fifty beds that is recognized by the Central Government or State Governments.

How to Apply? 

Note : Candidates जो Eligibility Criteria पूरा करते हैं, वे SSB की Official Website से 20 April 2026 तक Online आवेदन कर सकते हैं। आवेदन करने के लिए नीचे दिए गए Steps Follow करें:

  1. सबसे पहले SSB की Official Website www.ssb.gov.in पर visit करें।

  2. इसके बाद Constable (Tradesman/Driver) भर्ती के “Apply Link” पर क्लिक करें।

  3. उसके बाद Registration  बटन पर क्लिक करके अपनी बेसिक जानकारी जैसे Email ID और Mobile Number भरें।

  4. Registration करने के बाद आपको Registration ID और पासवर्ड मिल जाएगा।

  5. फिर लॉगिन करके अपनी Personal और Educational जानकारी फॉर्म में भरें।

  6. इसके बाद Passport Size Photo और Signature अपलोड करें।

  7. फिर Required Documents Prescribed Format और Size में अपलोड करें।

  8. यह सब करने के बाद अंत में Application Fee भरें और आवेदन फॉर्म को सबमिट कर दें।

SSB Constable Tradesman Notification 2026 Out : Selection Process

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST): भर्ती प्रक्रिया का पहला चरण PET/PST का होता है। इस चरण में Candidates की Physical Fitness और Physical Standards चेक किए जाते हैं। यह चरण Qualifying Nature का होता है।
  • Written Examination: दूसरा चरण लिखित परीक्षा का होता है इसमें 100 Objective Type प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं। यह परीक्षा Candidates की General Knowledge और Understanding चेक करने के लिए होता है। लिखित परीक्षा Qualify करने वाले Candidates को अगले चरण के लिए बुलाया जाता है|
  • Document Verification and Skill Test: लिखित परीक्षा पास करने वाले (Vacancies के लगभग 20 Times तक Shortlisted Candidates) को Document Verification के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। Documents चेक होने के बाद Skill / Trade Test लिया जाएगा जो 50 अंकों का होगा। यह Skill Test Qualifying Nature का है, यानी इसके अंक अंतिम मेरिट सूची में Add नहीं होंगे। लेकिन इस Test को पास करने के लिए कम से कम 60% Marks लाना जरूरी है, चाहे Candidate किसी भी Category का हो।
  • Detailed Medical Examination (DME):  अंतिम चरण में Vacancies के लगभग 3 Times Candidates को Detailed Medical परीक्षा के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। इस चरण में Candidates की Health और Medical Fitness चेक की जाएगी ताकि यह Confirm हो सके कि Candidate Duty के लिए Medically Fit है।

  • फिर होमपेज पर परीक्षा परिणाम सेक्शन खोलें।

  • वहां SSB Constable Tradesman परिणाम 2026 का लिंक चुनें।

  • अब परिणाम की PDF फाइल खुल जाएगी।

  • इसमें दिए गए रोल नंबर में से अपना रोल नंबर या नाम खोजें (Ctrl + F की मदद से)।

  • अगर आपका रोल नंबर सूची में है, तो आप परीक्षा Qualified कर चुके हैं।

SSB Constable Tradesman Notification 2026 Out : Preparation Tips

SSB परीक्षा की अच्छी तैयारी के लिए सबसे पहले उम्मीदवारों को पूरा Syllabus और परीक्षा के पैटर्न को ध्यान से समझ लेना चाहिए। General Knowledge के लिए रोजाना Current Affairs, इतिहास, Polity और भूगोल जैसे विषयों की नियमित पढ़ाई करें और अपने बेसिक विषयों को मजबूत रखें। इसके अलावा Daily Physical Practice करना जरूरी है, क्योंकि PET में Men को 4.8 km 24 Minutes में और Women को 2.4 km 18 minutes में Run करना होता है, इसलिए रोज Running और Exercise करके Stamina Improve करें।
