The objective of Shahjahan's Balkh campaign was –

शाहजहाँ के बल्ख अभियान का उद्देश्य था -

• काबुल की सीमा से सटे बल्ख और बदख्शाँ में एक मित्र शासक को लाना।  Bringing a friendly ruler to Balkh and Badakhshan bordering Kabul.

• मुगलों की मातृभूमि समरकन्द और फरकाना को जीतना ।  Conquering Samarkand and Farkana, the motherland of the Mughals.

• मुगल साम्राज्य का विस्तार उप महाद्वीप से आगे तक करना। To expand the Mughal Empire beyond the subcontinent.

• मुगल सीमा को वैज्ञानिक पद्धति अमुदारिया पर निर्धारित करना ।  To determine the Mughal border on Amu Darya using scientific method.
